    1. A is the second highest pitch in an octave. It comes in C,D,E,F,G,A,B serial form lowest to highest.

  2. You need to take a look at Tori Kelly, fan-freaking-tastic singer/songwriter...please review her new EP Foreword, I personally think it's really goof, but I'd like to know what you think.

    1. Mariah Carey's B7
it was on Guinness world records

    2. I'm probably a bit late, but it's definitely not a B7.
Georgia Brown has hit the highest note ever - G10. It's probably barely audible though, and the G10 is what is in the Guiness World Records fyi.

    3. I don’t think anyone could actually hear a “G10” note, nor anything even close to it. Besides, wasn’t Georgia Brown disqualified from the “Guinness Book of World Records,”® for that? Does anyone really know, or have any information about this?

    5. There's plenty of 8th octave whistle notes on YouTube, and I think an A9.

    6. G10 is not a note, it's a frequency.

      Delete
    7. Yes Georgia Brown is Guinness record holder whistling G10.. it's barely into next frequency and it IS audible. It is compared to a piping hot tea pot.

      Delete
    8. Georgia Brown never hit a G10 note, her highest note was a Bb7. In fact you'd probably not even hear it if it really was a G10. Also, notes are frequencies!

  4. Kelly Clarkson's sustained a C7 with vibrato before. She should be up there. And as for the highest belts....why do I not see Aretha or Amber there? Or even Vanessa Amarossi?

  5. Demi Lovato should now be in the No. 5 spot with Lea Michele for Highest Belts - Female.

    3. Don't be bothered by the haters. Bb2 is higher than the notes on the list. At least now, I don't know if the list was different when you posted that comment. Lower to higher: E2-F2-G2-A2-B2. The Bb2 is between A2 and B2, so it's not low enough to make the current list. Also, the list only includes singers that have a profile on this page, so a lot will be left out anyways.

  22. If you have time, can update this so that Liam Payne's C#2 is displayed in the low notes, his Bb5 id displayed in the high notes, and his C5/C#5 (From Fireproof I believe) belt is in the belts section?

  26. hello. what i know is brendon urie can hit D2 in the harmonization of This is Helloween (it's very difficult to hear) but anyone has ever said that he could hit C#2 live, but i don't know in which video or song. also, he can belt until D5 in his harmonization of this is gospel. oh yeah, i just got an information that he can belt a D6 in the harmonization of victorious (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJWi74RkD4c), he also hit many high notes in his new album, death of a bachelor such like emperor's new clothes (i forgot whether it's a Eb5 or Bb5s, and it's a belting).
and yeah, he can hit a C7 in Camisado, live (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TD8NopNRTeo), but yea I admit that it's a crack or something like that.
you should probably update this. thank you.

  30. Michael Jackson's voice lacked power? How ridiculous. Also, how is his androgynous voice a negative? He also did not sound childlike on any of his recordings past Off the Wall. Even on OFF the Wall his voice sounded much more mature than it had previously for most of the album. I think these negatives were kinda shoehorned in because MJ doesn't really have any real negatives for his voice, except for maybe his ever so slightly thin tone, which wasn't even mentioned here.

  31. Mike Patton deserves mention. An incredible vocal range (Eb1 to E7) and also an extraordinarily versatile and accomplished multidisciplinary musician.

Not sure he can be reviewed using the standard criteria of this site - but I'd love it if you give him a shot.

  32. Even though your review of Brendon Urie is great you should re-review him because I feel he is even better now than the current description of him. He stopped smoking a few years ago and has a new album out plus new concert footage and also live acoustic footage since 2015. He has also now performed on Broadway so his technique may be even better although that was after the most recent tour so no footage to compare except for him singing Soul of a Man for Billboard and Nightline.

For acoustic check out when he was on Elvis Duran and his performance of Victorious in Spain. Other things to watch The End of All Things, Casual Affair and their 2017 performances of Bohemian Rhapsody and other songs on that tour.

  35. Put Brendon Urie on here!!!! He can go REALLY high even though he doesn't live, hence the new live album. He also isn't as good live as he regularly. Just saying.

  40. Holy Cow wait.. this is actually false information. You said the highest belt is a D6 however that's actually not true. I'm Gabriella Wells, a 16 year old singer-songwriter from Orange County, California. I have the vocal range of C3 to E7 and my vocal belting range is C3 to E6. Crazily that would mean that I have the highest belt. The proof is in the link and that would be seriously awesome if you checked out the video & maybe even gave me credit on this page! My email is Gabriellamwells@gmail.com If you want to contact me for any further questions, comments, or concerns. :)

  45. I feel like if you have Mariah Carey you need Axl Rose. From main stream music they have the largest ranges out there, and I believe Axl even tops Mariah. To me this list just feel like is incomplete without Axl.

  48. Mariah's Highest Note C8... Trilled In Your Girl... Highest Belt Bb5, in Honey So So Def Remix... Highest Falsetto, most won't even notice it tho, was a G6 in Oh Santa... Highest Head Voice note was the F#6 in I Want To Know What Love Is...
As For Long Notes Chante Moore & Minnie Ripperton Tied For 29 Seconds, Tiffany Evans, 27 Seconds.
Whistles... Minnie Ripperton Highest Recorded Was An A7... Chante Moore Highest Recorded, Although Hard To Hear, Was A Bb7, And They Both Sing Equally As Pleasant As Mariah Carey... Very Underrated...
